Holistically Conventional Care

With 28 years of Tucson-based, mixed animal practice experience, Dr. Hutchison's approach is based on a foundation of traditional scientific medicine but expanded upon with a holistic emphasis.

Acupuncture

Following a TCVM medical examination (assessing excess/deficiency, hot/cold, interior/exterior and yin/yang) acupuncture techniques are chosen from dry needling, aquapuncture, hemoacupuncture, and/or electrical stimulation as deemed to be most effective.

Chinese Herbal Formula

Following a synthesis of a conventional Western and a Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medical Examination herbal treatments are offered in addition to conventional therapies. These options extend from single herbal options to classical Chinese Jing Tang formulas.

Digital Radiology

State of the art digital radiography is offered both in the clinic and in the field for large and small animals unable to be brought into the clinic.

Dentistry

Dr. Hutchison's equine dentistry is based on modern fundamentals but applied via hand tools thus allowing smaller doses of sedation and less aggressive correction of malocclusions.

Our small animal dentistry is based on a careful balance of state of the art technology and conservative, affordable cleaning with extractions as needed.

Surgery

Routine general practice surgery is offered at an out-patient level both in the hospital and in the field as necessary.
